Here are links to some of the stuff I like.
Mediaclusters.brussels (yes .Brussels websites exist now) is the website of our collaborative (ULB, VUB, USL-B) research project on media (companies, workers and communities of practice) in the city of Brussels. Go check it out, the website is slick!
On Journalism is at the same time an international scientific publication (online and paper) as well as a website monitoring journalistic and academic activities with which I collaborate (as assistant-editors). They mainly publish articles in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
The BSJ is platform of Journalism scholars researching in Brussels (mostly from the ULB and the VUB). The main goal of the platform is to optimize journalism education, research, and public valorisation and visibility. You can find information in Dutch, French and English. Make sure to check it out!
Within the ULB, the ReSIC (centre de Recherche en Sciences de L’information et de la Communication) is the research Lab that I am a part of. The lab is attached to the ULB and supervises researchers working on 4 topics (journalismS, Corporate and political communication, digital information, and Performing arts – Semiotics and cultural processes.
I discovered the OJB recently. It’s run by the journalist Paul Bradshaw, who discusses online journalism and online news, data journalism, citizen journalism, blogging, and all that good stuff.
